In all my travels around the globe (although not currently) the thing that interests me most is the day-to-day life of the people I encounter. The remote huts under the blazing African sun in Senegal, the township in the highlands of Burundi, the farmhouse in northern China where they literally sleep on top of an oven to stay warm in winter. And yours is a fascinating glimpse into your current situation. The names for each of the sub-cultures around you will evolve, but they’re already very descriptive! Nicely done.
